Homework for 8.27 & 8.28

ALL BIOLOGY:


1. Define biotic and abiotic factors of the environment. Give an example of each.
2. How do ecologists define the term ecosystem?

3. State the competitive exclusion principle.

4. Compare and contrast the ecosystem concepts of niche and habitat.

    1.define abiotic: a nonliving part of the environment example:sun define biotic:a living part of the environment example:fish

    2.Ecology is the study of how living things interact with each other and with their environment

    3.2 differnt species cannot live in the same niche for a long time

    4.in a habitat many different species can live together for a long time in a niche only the same species can live together
